Matthew J. Ross, Esq. is a junior partner at MLG. Matthew’s practice focuses on commercial litigation in state and federal courts, complex personal injury cases, and estate planning. While at MLG, Matthew has represented numerous domestic and international corporations, domestic subsidiaries of international corporations, and individuals from all over the world in matters throughout New Jersey and New York.
Prior to joining MLG, Matthew served as a research assistant for the Prosecutor’s Office of the United Nations Special Court for Sierra Leone where he addressed jurisdictional issues.
Matthew attended law school at Case Western Reserve University, where he was Editor-in-Chief of the Canada-U.S. Law Institute Journal, an editor of the Case Western Reserve University Journal of International Law, and a member of the Mock Trial team, and member of the Jean Pictet International Moot Court Team.
Matthew received his undergraduate education from The Ohio State University, where in 2002 he was awarded the Outstanding Senior Award for leadership, scholarship, and service. Also while a student at OSU, Matthew was the National Champion in Extemporaneous Speaking for his analysis of the conflict between Eritrea and Ethiopia.
