About Greg

Gregory K. Mueller, Esq. founded the Mueller Law Group in Tenafly, New Jersey in 1993, opened Manhattan offices in 2004, and is MLG’s managing director.

Greg has well over twenty years of experience in multiple facets of transactional law, corporate litigation, and civil litigation.  Greg is primary counsel for numerous business entities and individuals including large and small domestic and foreign businesses. Over the past several decades Greg has cultivated a broad network of professional affiliations, which allows MLG to provide personalized, cost-effective services, while maintaining the ability to collaborate with experts and specialists for unique or complex matters.

He received his J.D. from Rutgers School of Law, where he was awarded an Honors Certificate for International Law, was a Ford Foundation Scholar, and received top honors for oral argument at the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition.  Lehigh University awarded him a B.A. where he majored in International Relations (receiving top marks) and minored in Government, Psychology, Philosophy and East Asian Studies.  Greg is a graduate of Tenafly High School, the same town where our principal office is located.

Following law school Greg accepted an invitation from the Austrian government to live and work in Austria where he taught law and helped numerous professors from Central European countries modify their nations’ laws to prepare for accession into the European Union.  Upon his return to the United States of America he founded MLG.

Greg is rated as a Distinguished Attorney by Martindale Hubbell.  He is a former trustee of the New Jersey State Bar Association, former Chairman of the New Jersey State Bar Association’s Young Lawyers Division, and was named one of the “Forty Under 40” by Business News of New Jersey (now NJBIZ), which annually honors forty of the state’s most accomplished and dynamic young leaders.  Greg is licensed to practice in the states of New Jersey and New York, as well as in several United States District Courts and the United States Supreme Court.  Greg is currently a member of the Hudson-Bergen Inn of Transactional Counsel and a Barrister with The Justice Morris Pashman American Inn of Court, helping young lawyers become excellent practitioners while upholding the highest standards of professionalism.

Having spent most of his life in northern New Jersey where he raised three sons, Greg is personally invested in the people who make up our community and the people and companies that employ them.  His dedication to community is reflected in his volunteerism (for example he is a third-term councilman in Cresskill, New Jersey and coach of youth sports for many years) as well as in the culture and goals of Mueller Law Group. Where clients are treated as our neighbors and friends.
